What is your favorite thing about DA?
My favorite thing about DA is the family environment by far. I have made friends for a lifetime and consider so many people here family. It is just a tight knit community that can lean on each other.
Which class had been your favorite and why?
Mrs. Chapman is so helpful, and I consider any of her classes my favorite at DA. You learn so much but have fun at the same time.
How would you describe the classroom environment at DA?
The classroom environment is small classes but it helps everyone to get to know everyone.
What is your favorite DA tradition?
My favorite tradition at DA is the Bear Walk that the football team does before every home game. The fans line the sides of the street and the team walks through while everyone is cheering us on.
What activities are you involved in at DA?
The activities that I am involved in at DA are, being a team captain of the football team, an FCA leader, I’m involved in the Culinary Club, Speech and Debate team as well as a member of the track and field team.

I am a member of the football team, and I can confidently say it has been the best 4.5 years of my life. It has allowed me to grow in several different ways from becoming a better leader to learning how to overcome adversity when things get tough.
Davidson Academy is a God-focused school. How does that impact life at DA and what does it mean to you?
DA being a God-focused school has allowed me to be at peace and brings so much joy knowing that I am surrounded by other followers of Christ daily.
If you are a senior, what are our plans for college, and do you know what you want to study?
I am currently undecided as to where I will attend college, but I do plan to play football and study business.
What would you tell someone who was interested in attending Davidson Academy?
I would tell anyone interested in attending DA to come check us out. I promise you will not be disappointed, becoming a member of the family at Davidson Academy will be the best choice you have ever made.
